Injured Barzulla youth dies, mourners face brutalities
While undeclared curfew continued in down town and general strike in rest of the Valley amid massive protests for the fourth consecutive day today against the Shopian incident, Nisar Ahmad Mir, who was injured in police action at Barzulla three days back, succumbed to his injuries in SKIMS. Police and CRPF used massive force including firing in air, lobbing scores of tear gas shells and lathi-charge to disperse peaceful protestors carrying his body at Haiderpora.
More than three dozen persons were injured there as cops rained teargas shells and resorted to heavy cane charge at protestors from all directions.
